These 3 cakes were created for a photoshoot for Elle magazine. The inspiration was the tuscan landscape and Florentine artisian traditions.
The first wedding cake simple and elegant, was hand piped with a small pearl pattern, painted and finished with a delicate sugar flower on top.
The second four tier cake represented different wild and garden flowers grown throughout Italy. Tiers of the cultivated flowers like roses and peonies from inspiring villas, paired agaist tiers of wild flowers like irises an lavandar.
The final 2 tier cake, perfect for a small destination wedding, used a florentine technique of leather braiding which Tuscan Wedding Cakes mimiced in fondant and then accentuated with a cascade of delicate sugar flowers.
